Summaries - Season after season

Season 1:

Hank spends most of his time drinking but does not write a line. In a bookstore, he meets a young woman he layer before realizing that she is 16 years old and she is the daughter of Bill, the future husband of Karen, the former wife of Hank he is still madly in love. Every visit to his daughter Becca Hank and Karen, Hank is harassed by Mia until she steals the manuscript he has written. The day of the wedding Karen and Bill, Hank became a reason but when Hank and Becca leave the ceremony, Karen catches up and fled with them.



Season 2:

Hank and Karen are working to stabilize their relationship before Becca seems regain energy. But while Hank has just undergone a vasectomy, he is mistaken for confusing Karen person with another. Embedded by the police, he then meets the famous producer Lew Ashby who will ask him to write his autobiography. Later Sonja learn to Hank that he might be the father of her unborn child, making back its investment in Karen with Hank.

Hank then moved with Lew Ashby and at a party, it dies before finding his true love that Hank had convinced to return.

Meanwhile, Charlie wants to change careers and wife, leaving his job dealer for the X industry and his wife Marcy to become the starlet Daisy.

Karen, meanwhile, landed a job in New York, which satisfies Hank but he finally decides to stay in Los Angeles for the well being of Becca.



Season 3:

The book by Lew not making sales, Hank finds himself obliged to accept a professorship at the university where he juggles the wife of Dean and one of his students stripper at night but with a great potential for writing. However, the relationship between Hank and Becca did not improve in the absence of Karen and Hank has to deal with the crisis of adolescence the girl who tests his limits in the company of the daughter of the dean. Meanwhile, Mia's book is a success and that Hank would like to keep secret its origin, Karen and Hank whole entourage finally learns the horrible truth. Charlie, meanwhile, is struggling to win back his wife Marcy and when it is about to happen, his relationship with his new boss comes sow discord.



Season 4:

Hank must face justice and statutory rape charge for which he is charged for sleeping with Mia. But while Karen and Becca are devastated by this case, Hank moved to the hotel where he receives a film producer and actors to script and construct the film to be the adaptation of the book "Fucking & Punching" Mia had stolen. While Hank must adopt exemplary behavior, he sleeps with the sensible actress interpreted the role of Mia and approaches his lawyer. Charlie learns that his vasectomy was not so radical and he is the father of the child to Marcy. Becca, meanwhile, joined a rock band whose father a member of the group becomes the new boyfriend of Karen, to the chagrin of Hank is indeed doomed.



Season 5:

2 years and 9 months have passed and Hank just completed his probationary period. While Hank moved to New York, he fled the city and his girlfriend of the moment to meet a commitment to write the script for a rapper eager to break into the world of the thriller. Unfortunately for Hank, the girlfriend of the rapper is a beauty to which he can not resist. Karen is now married to Bates that is experiencing problems with alcohol and Becca has a new love that is simply a juvenile version of his father. Hank still madly in love with Karen is about to get what he wants but is not counting on her friend from New York who visits him and is desperate to keep Hank with her.
